Bespoke furniture and design
Commissioning bespoke furniture is easier and more enjoyable than you may imagine. No matter the size of project: from a jewellery box to whole room fit, your views and needs are very important.
An initial informal meeting will lead to some specifications and concepts on which a rough estimate of time and costs can be made. If approved, then further consultation will lead to working drawings and a detailed quotation.
Dealing with the artisan who will be designing and making your furniture there are no middlemen or contract fitters you can rely on personal attention. You will be commissioning an individual piece, made with honest craftsmanship using solid woods or modern techniques. The choice of materials will be dependent on your taste, design and budget.
Quality, well-seasoned hardwoods come at a price but will last for centuries. Softwoods have great character and are affordable. Modern man-made materials have stability and uniformity and are good value. All have their place and all will perform if used correctly. Whatever your design and choice of materials you will own something distinctive and desirable.
